Bragato 2017 is over, but the buzz continues...

The Romeo Bragato Conference 2017 may be over, but for us, the buzz continues.

With such an impressive line-up of speakers at this years wine growers' conference, we expected a lot and were not disappointed.

I personally found the speech by Caine Thompson quite inspirational, as we described his journey from young Viticulturist of the year in 2009 to General Manager of global wine producer, Location Wines. Caine is proof that with hard work, talent and self-belief, anything is possible.

The highlight for us though, was the opportunity to personally meet so many dedicated, passionate and talented people from across the wine industry and to have the chance to learn from them.

We were also excited to be able to share our own our passion and vision for Vinea - to streamline business processes and enhance decision making.

Many of you took the time to come to our exhibit and share ideas and challenges, and would have seen how we are applying database and mobile technologies to help growers such as Akarua Vineyard in Central Otago to save time and improve productivity. We'd love to do the same for you.

The Vinea Exhibit at Bragato 2017

People really liked the idea of having information to understand and address their input costs per hectare, especially labour.

Look out for more announcements on what we are doing to streamline tasks such as in-field sampling and data capture for yield forecasting.
